Summary

Join Neo4j's Sales Engineering team as a technologist working directly with customers across various industries. You will provide thought leadership in engineering and architecture, designing and implementing Neo4j-powered solutions. Responsibilities include understanding customer requirements, translating them into solution architectures, demonstrating Neo4j capabilities, and engaging with technical decision-makers. You will bridge the gap between business and technology, incorporating complementary architectural components and cutting-edge GenAI and LLM capabilities. This role requires at least 5 years of pre-sales or professional services experience, strong database understanding, solution design skills, and technical proficiency. Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in PreSales or Professional Services, ideally in the automotive or manufacturing sectors
• Strong understanding of database platforms, with a focus on NoSQL systems
• Ability to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions
• Familiarity with software development and coding languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript
• Proven success in guiding technical teams through consultative methods
• Strong desire to learn and quickly adapt to emerging technologies
• Passion for solving complex technical challenges with innovative approaches
• Capability to lead training and workshops for small groups
• Ability to manage technical aspects of the sales cycle effectively
• Willing to travel as required
• Fluent in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in German is mandatory

Responsibilities

• Act as a central player in Neo4j PreSales projects, building and nurturing strong partnerships with customer teams
• Be a vital contributor to the Neo4j sales organization, effectively communicating the transformative benefits of graph database solutions
• Ensure smooth and efficient integration of Neo4j solutions within the customer’s technical environment
• Provide insights and recommendations that align with clients' technical infrastructure and business strategies
• Design and present Neo4j-based prototypes that address customer needs and showcase desired functionalities

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with graph database platforms like Neo4j, including Cypher, GDS, or GraphQL integrations
• Knowledge of implementing or integrating LLMs with database solutions to enhance AI-driven applications
• Familiarity with vector database technologies for advanced data search and similarity matching
• Understanding of graph-based AI and machine learning use cases, with experience leveraging Neo4j GDS or similar tools
• Expertise in data integration, ETL workflows, and data virtualization techniques
• Proven track record in addressing technical and business challenges
