Summary

The job is for a Product Marketing professional to develop and execute marketing strategies for Riverside Insights' Achievement and Ability Assessment products in the K-12 Education market. The role involves conducting market analysis, developing messaging and positioning strategies, collaborating with campaign marketing, and working with product managers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years’ experience in product marketing
  • At least 1+ year of that experience within the K-12 Education market
  • Proven synthesis of market research into cross-team actionable insights
  • Experience coordinating and communicating between multiple stakeholders at varying levels of an organization
  • Exceptional writing skills, including attention to details of grammar, punctuation, phrasing, and structure

Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth market analysis and research to understand each product’s market position and growth opportunities
  • Embed customer and market insights into product roadmap and marketing strategies
  • Craft and regularly update compelling messaging and positioning strategies in line with market demands
  • Develop concise, simple product differentiation persona <> pain point <> positioning matrices
  • Develop or refine existing competitive battle cards, pitch decks, and other sales enablement materials
  • Develop or update case studies, testimonials, and key collateral to align with new messaging and positioning
  • In partnership with campaign marketing, ensure that customers are receiving regular information about best practices and ways of deepening usage of products
  • Regularly collaborate with campaign marketing to develop and execute high quality campaigns aimed at target personas that meet lead generation and revenue goals
  • Work with product managers to develop go-to-market strategies for new product launches and feature launches
  • Monitor benchmarks for market penetration and adapt messaging and positioning if necessary
