Summary
Join Addiction Recovery Care, LLC (ARC), a top workplace in Kentucky, and become our new Admission Clerk! As a member of our growing healthcare system, you will play a vital role in providing addiction treatment and mental health services. You will be responsible for managing staff performance, ensuring incident reporting accuracy, overseeing facility operations, and collaborating with various departments. The position requires strong leadership, management, and communication skills, along with knowledge of relevant regulations. A Bachelor's degree and operational management experience are preferred. Requirements
- Appropriate State and Federal Clearance
- Knowledge of community health resources that support life improvement in physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual health, economic security, employment, positive social and family interdependence and positive cultural identity
- SKilled in crisis intervention and verbal de-escalation
- Knowledge of Federal, State and Municipal laws and/or regulations that regulate the treatment of alcoholism and drug addiction, mental health and homelessness
- Excellent communication skills
- Computer literate with experience in a Windows environment
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to prioritize work- and work-related responsibilities
- Must have ability to interact with staff and persons served/clients in a professional manner
- Ability to coordinate and manage multiple tasks with attention to detail
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle crisis situations in a calm and supportive manner
- Ability to exhibit professional and courteous behavior, consistent with the ARC mission statement, when interacting with persons of varying backgrounds and education levels to create a safe and healthy relationship with clients served
- Ability to sit and/or stand for long periods of time
- Ability to read detailed health records
- Ability to lift and carry up to 10 lbs
- Ability to operate computer and other equipment in the office
- Must have sufficient mobility to move around the office and the community
Responsibilities
- Establishing and actively managing effective performance management processes (recruitment, selection, orientation, supervision, evaluation, and termination) for direct staff members that achieves desired outcomes and encourages individual development
- Provides 24 hour management of the facility
- Ensures incident reporting is documented accurately and assists in resolving client issues
- The Campus Administrator will be responsible for oversight and effective management of all functional areas of the campus providing client treatment and support including but not limited to, Clinical, Medical, recreational, safety/security, and physical plant
- Provides for staff development (i.e., supervision, educational, etc.)
- Maintains an efficient and effective staff schedule that remains within budgetary constraints
- Analyzing and reporting metrics for clinical, medical and peer support services
- Tracking, executing and reporting data analytics in order to drive accountability and quality service delivery to clients
- As a member of the ARC management, actively participate in the overall planning, decision making and implementation processes for corporate-wide strategies, policies and procedures. Represent the needs of the site to corporate processes and represent corporate needs to the site. Effectively collaborates with corporate functions (Clinical, Finance, Human Resources, and Information Technology)
- The Campus Administrator is responsible for effective management of a budget and ensuring adequate control measures are in place regarding purchasing and to protect facility assets
- The Campus Administrator is encouraged and expected to report, without the threat of retaliation, any concerns regarding Addiction Recovery Care Center/Odyssey, Inc.βs policies and procedures on persons served/client privacy and any observed practices in violation of the policy to their supervisor
- Create and maintain a work environment for employees that is conducive to high productivity and morale. Establish and maintain effective communication systems with employees. Provide ongoing employee educational and development opportunities which meet regulatory requirements and opportunities for growth
- Participate in staff and state regulatory training as required
- Adhere to program policies and procedures while maintaining a professional code of ethics
- Maintain a valid driverβs license
- The Campus Administrator is expected to protect the privacy of all persons served/client information in accordance with Addiction Recovery Care Center/Odyssey, Inc.βs privacy policies, procedures and practices, as required by federal and state law, and in accordance with general principles of professionalism as a healthcare provider
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree preferred in the field of business, leadership, or management
- Three (3) years of experience in operational management preferred
- Demonstrated competencies in operations, quality management, staff development and management, resident and family support systems, community outreach
- Substance abuse experience preferred
