Program Manager

Summary

Join PingWind as a Program Manager to lead and deliver IT solutions for the Department of Veterans Affairs. Oversee the entire program lifecycle, from design and implementation to management and reporting. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, engage with senior leadership, and mentor junior staff. This role requires expert knowledge of project management and Agile methodologies, along with strong communication and stakeholder management skills. The position is remote and requires a Public Trust clearance. Requirements

• Expert knowledge of project management and Agile best practices
• Lead delivery of software applications, and websites
• Develop and implement remediation plans for identified gaps
• Regularly report on status, risks, and progress to senior management
• Develop, update, and enforce organizational policies and procedures
• Prepare detailed reports, including metrics, audit findings, and corrective action plans
• Maintain accurate documentation of activities, training sessions, and policy updates
• Identify and implement best practices and innovative solutions
• Collaborate with industry experts and participate in professional forums to stay abreast of new developments in accessibility
• Bachelor’s degree in information technology or related discipline
• 10 years of relevant experience
• Degree may be substituted for 8 years of experience

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of program and product delivery
• Oversee the design, implementation, and management of a complex program
• Lead and coordinate with cross-functional teams in all phases of product and service development
• Engage with senior leadership to align goals with organizational objectives
• Serve as the primary advisor to executive leadership
• Establish and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, advocacy groups, and vendors
• Mentor and guide junior staff members and other stakeholders
