Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
  • Minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in recruiting/sourcing in the AEC industry preferred
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Professional etiquette and demeanor
  • Proven success with direct sourcing and passive candidate engagement
  • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS), job boards, and social media platforms
  • Strong analytical skills to track metrics and interpret data for strategic recruiting campaigns
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, particularly in networking and establishing professional relationships

Responsibilities

  • Determine and coordinate recruiting and sourcing needs on an ongoing basis by consulting with management
  • Manage and build candidate pipelines to support multiple requisitions across various skill sets and functions
  • Create and manage job postings in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), external job boards, and social media platforms
  • Utilize Boolean searching techniques to locate qualified potential applicants through databases, online job boards, and professional networking sites
  • Conduct telephone interviews and provide detailed interview notes along with hiring recommendations to hiring managers
  • Communicate progress and coordinate changes with hiring managers and candidates
  • Manage candidates and workload through the Universal Engineering Sciences ATS
  • Deliver best-fit candidates to hiring managers promptly
  • Schedule appointments, make travel arrangements for candidates, conduct interviews, and arrange follow-up interviews as needed
  • Assist managers in providing meaningful feedback to internal candidates not selected for positions
  • Maintain periodic activity, pipeline, and outcome reporting
  • Establish and maintain professional relationships with colleges and local organizations to participate in job fairs and networking events
  • Ensure confidentiality of all personnel and candidate information at all times
  • Regularly check in with assigned hiring managers to assess hiring needs
  • Shadow UES employees in the field on an 'as needed' basis to gain a better understanding of our business practices
  • Be responsive to prospective candidates, new hires, hiring managers, and other members of the UES team
  • Support the UES Internship Program
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the direct supervisor

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Marketing, Communications, Psychology, or a related field
