Responsibilities
- Drive new business opportunities by qualifying, managing and closing sales opportunities in new and existing accounts utilizing appropriate resources necessary to close sales
- Contribute to building and fostering executive relationships with enterprise customers to influence long-term strategic direction and serve as a business partner
- Drive the acquisition of new customers in strategic Global 2000 accounts, both directly and through AppViewX channel partners
- Collaborate on building working relationships with Inside Sales Representatives to effectively strategize and achieve quotas
- Play a key role in business development, accurately forecasting, and achieving strategic goals by guiding customers through the entire business cycle
- Work on understanding each customerβs technology footprint, strategic growth plans, business drivers, technology strategy, and competitive landscape
- Maintain and expand the client database within the assigned territory
- Execute effective Data Management through internal and external sources, such as CRM, social media, and other tools
- Lead with account strategy to generate and develop business growth opportunities, collaborating with Customer Success in creating new possibilities
- Utilize and leverage internal technology to manage marketing leads effectively
- Negotiate and manage complex sales-cycles, and present to executives at various levels in corporate and global customers
- Contribute to forecasting sales and developing innovative sales strategies/models to achieve quotas
- Educate C-Level executives to secure sponsorship on projects, maintaining a strong focus on relationship building with executive decision-makers
- Build trust and credibility at multiple levels in target named accounts
- Guide prospects through a methodical sales process to facilitate decisions
- Represent AppViewX at local and/or industry events
- Collaborate with other team members to foster a strong sense of community and information sharing among Account Executives
- Travel as necessary to client locations
