Requirements

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field, advanced degree preferred
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in content strategy, content enrichment, or content curation
  • At least 4 years in a leadership and management role preferably at a content platform, media company, content agency, or related industry
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful content strategies on a domestic and international scale
  • Demonstrated success in content strategy with a focus on pop culture and social media and understanding of SEO, multimedia content, data integration, and interactive content techniques
  • Experience managing and developing high-performing teams in a domestic and international context
  • Ability to think strategically and translate vision into actionable plans
  • Demonstrated success with personal schedule management and meeting with international teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Ability to work in Google Suite including Docs, Sheets, and Slides

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and manage the AMERS team of content enrichment and curation managers, and specialists
  • Develop and implement a regional content enrichment strategy that aligns with the clientsโ€™ brand and standards
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in content enrichment and curation
  • Foster a positive and productive work environment, promoting professional development and growth within the team
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, providing feedback and setting goals for team members
  • Identify and address training needs, ensuring the team remains current with industry trends and best practices
  • Encourage teamwork, innovation, and continuous improvement within the team
  • Partner with recruitment and HR as a hiring manager to assess hiring needs, screen and interview candidates, and make key hiring decisions and recommendations
  • Work with teams to ensure compliance with 1021 Creative policies, including confidentiality and employee conduct
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the needs, preferences, and behaviors of our AMERS clients
  • Ensure all efforts are aligned with providing maximum value and engagement for our clients
  • Gather and analyze feedback to continually improve output and relevance, while continually decreasing team errors
  • Foster a client-centric culture within the content team, prioritizing client satisfaction and engagement in all initiatives
  • Establish standardized processes for consistency across all regions in collaboration with Sr. Director
  • Drive innovation through exploring new technologies, tools, and methodologies to enhance the work
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team, encouraging the adoption of new skills and practices
  • Monitor and analyze the performance using key metrics and analytics tools
  • Continuously optimize strategies based on performance data, client feedback, and cultural trends
  • Report on the impact of efforts to senior leadership, providing insights and recommendations for improvement
  • Ensure clear and consistent communication across all levels of the organization and with external partners
  • Develop and deliver presentations to senior leadership, stakeholders, and clients, showcasing the impact and value of content enrichment and curation efforts
  • Create comprehensive reports and updates on content performance, strategies, and outcomes
  • Facilitate effective communication within the content team to ensure alignment and collaboration
