Requirements

  • Proven track record of success in enterprise sales within the education sector, with a focus on mid-market and larger institutions
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in sales within the EdTech or adjacent industries, preferably SaaS
  • Demonstrated ability to close complex deals and exceed revenue targets consistently
  • Strong understanding of the higher education landscape, including decision-making processes and procurement practices
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients at all levels
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Passion for education and a desire to make a positive impact on student outcomes
  • Bachelor’s degree

Responsibilities

  • Consistently exceed revenue targets by closing enterprise-level deals within the mid-market and larger institutional segments
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospects and clients, fostering trust and partnership throughout the sales cycle
  • Conduct in-depth needs assessments to identify key pain points through the student lifecycle  and identify key opportunities to apply holistic solutions within target institutions
  • Develop and present tailored solutions that address client challenges and align with their strategic objectives
  • Negotiate complex deals, navigating institutional budgeting processes and addressing potential objections
  • Become a subject matter expert on Motimatic's platform and capabilities, effectively communicating their value proposition
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to identify new market opportunities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop sales enablement materials, training programs, and best practices.  Work closely with your manager to identify areas of opportunity for your clients and to guide the evolution of the role to continually support Motimatic’s ambitious growth goals

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience and successful track record of selling into higher education institutions of various sizes and types
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM platforms
  • Knowledge of educational trends and emerging innovations
