Requirements

  • 3-5 yrs proven experience as a Director of Operations in a start-up environment

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain operational systems and procedures to ensure day-to-day efficiency and productivity
  • Collaborate closely with senior leadership to design the necessary systems and automations and provide regular updates on company progress and employee performance
  • Lead the creation of systems for a client and contacts database, and the development of a licensing management system
  • Set up systems to manage HR functions, including benefits administration and culture development
  • Implement and optimize technology solutions for data management, knowledge management, leveraging a CRM application tools like KEAP (Infusionsoft), Teamwork, Notion, and other software applications for efficiency
  • Drive strategic initiatives, including project management, risk management, and operational manual development
  • Oversee contract management and sales operations to facilitate client onboarding and pipeline management
  • Foster a remote-friendly company culture and facilitate regular virtual meetings with staff, and semi-annual in-person meetings

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with KEAP (Infusionsoft) and other project management tools such as Asana, and CRM databases
  • Familiarity with school district procurement processes
  • Familiarity with product licensing management

Job description

Zo-Ped Collective is a new start-up venture in education technology, and seeks a dynamic individual to help build foundational systems and drive operational excellence.

Reporting directly to the CEO, the Director of Operations will play a pivotal role in orchestrating the major functions of the company by refining existing workflows as well as designing and establishing new processes to support our expansion into the education technology licensing market. This person will manage day-to-day issues and coordinate the company’s people, processes, and systems to get to impact.

The ideal candidate will thrive on a remote team, in a start-up environment, exhibit strong leadership qualities. In addition, this person will have a proactive approach to solving challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain operational systems and procedures to ensure day-to-day efficiency and productivity.

Experience:

  • Experience in project management and strategic planning
  • Familiarity with school district procurement and data privacy regulations a plus
  • Familiarity with licensing systems and processes a plus

Education/Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Certifications in project management
  • Certifications in Information Systems and/or Human Resources desirable
