Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • 2-3 years of experience in an HR role
  • Willingness to travel once per year for a team offsite (typically 3 days, 2 nights)
  • Experience in healthcare and/or an organization with a large hourly workforce preferred
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for virtual collaboration
  • Outstanding resourcefulness with a creative, problem-solving approach to work
  • Proficient in using a computer and related technology, including Google Suite and HRIS systems. Experience with Paylocity is a plus
  • Comfortable with video conferencing tools for remote meetings
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and integrity
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fully remote environment

Responsibilities

  • Drive timely turnaround of clearance documentation required for employees working in third party school and community settings
  • Facilitate new hire onboarding and orientation programs
  • Maintain and update employee records and HR databases
  • Manage resignation processing for departing employees in a timely manner
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures
  • Process worker’s compensation claims and injury reports with accuracy
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations
  • Assist with a variety of employee inquiries within the HR team’s email inbox
  • Provide general administrative support to the HR department
