Summary

Join Housecall Pro as a Sales Development Representative (SDR), Key Accounts Onboarding, and be the driving force behind our sales efforts. You will identify and engage potential customers, building relationships and communicating via phone and digital channels. You will understand customer challenges and goals, conveying empathy and showcasing how Housecall Pro improves their businesses. Leverage your sales skills to add value at every stage of the customer journey, becoming a subject matter expert. This role requires proven SDR experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to meet and exceed sales goals. The compensation is $75,000/year ($49,000 base) plus uncapped earning potential.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of proven experience as an SDR or similar (Mid-market experience a plus)
  • High school diploma required, college preferred
  • Proven ability to hit and exceed your goals in an SDR (or similar position)

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with our sales team to drive new enrollment of service professionals
  • Understand our Pro’s day to day challenges and goals, and communicating the value our company adds to their lives
  • Convey and internalize empathy for Pro’s pain to foster trust and connections which show that our brand is deeper than transactional sales
  • Initiate contact with potential customers via phone, email, and social media to generate interest in our products and services
  • Identify and qualify leads by understanding their business needs and determining if our solutions align with their goals
  • Build and maintain relationships with prospects, providing information and education on how Housecall Pro can address their challenges
  • Develop a deep understanding of our products and their value propositions to effectively communicate benefits to potential customers
  • Generate and manage a pipeline of qualified leads, tracking progress and updating CRM systems
  • Conduct research on target industries and markets to identify potential prospects and trends

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with CRM systems and other sales tools is a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to engage and build rapport with potential customers
  • Strong motivation to meet and exceed sales goals and targets
  • Ability to handle rejection and maintain a positive attitude, persistently pursuing opportunities
  • Collaborative mindset, working closely with the sales team to achieve overall objectives
  • Ability to adapt to evolving sales strategies and market conditions
  • Strong self-discipline and time management skills to work independently and meet deadlines
