Summary
Join us as a Partner Development Representative to support our NZ based sales team in facilitating and deepening relationships with Accounting and Bookkeeping Partners, transitioning them from setup to product utilisation at pace. You'll be the key Point of Contact, guiding and consulting with Partners as they accelerate through the Xero Partner Program onboarding stages and through to their first stages of growth on the platform.
Requirements
- Ability to quickly build and deepen rapport with multiple stakeholders via telephone/video call and occasional face to face meetings
- Attention to detail and follow-up
- Process driven and takes ownership
- Outstanding written and oral communication skills
- Self motivation, energy, passion and determination to succeed
- Proven ability to drive education and sales campaigns, initiatives and attendance at events
- Ability to build established relationships with Xero Partners
- Telesales experience
- Ability to undertake outbound calls to customers in a consistent and timely manner
- Knowledge of the workings of an accounting practice systems
- Experience with CRM Systems
Responsibilities
- Directly liaise with potential Partners via email, phone, webinars and events
- Qualifying partner leads that come in to Xero
- Provide phone-based engagement with clients to handle day-to-day issues, responding in a timely manner, including those submitted via email (cases)
- Segment/ assess opportunities effectively
- Remotely influence and build rapport with potential Partners
- Maintain momentum and act as central point of contact and relationship owner for all of your assigned Partners throughout their onboarding journey
- Monitor patch, including assessing performance, system administration and preparation for timely handover
- Identify opportunities and respond accordingly using the available dashboard data and other reports developed under your People Leaders guidance
- Update CRM system with all practice communications including calls and emails
- Develop best practices processes to support repeatable activities
- Driving attendance and follow up for Xero Sales led events
- Support a variety of operational tasks, projects, and systems/data-related activities, adapting to evolving business needs each quarter
- Contribute to strategic initiatives that require flexibility and cross-functional collaboration
- Undertake additional responsibilities as directed to ensure the success of the team in an agile environment
