Summary

Join our team as a Pre Sales Engineer and play an important role on our Sales team, collaborating with internal teams to establish personal rapport with customers and vendors, and ensuring the success of our product deployments to public safety agencies.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related technical field or equivalent practical experience
  • 5+ years of enterprise software sales experience and the benefits
  • Experience selling to Government and Public Safety Clients (ideally CAD/RMS)
  • Excellent technical writing skills and basic familiarity with the government procurement process (RFP/I/Q)
  • The ability to communicate technical information to non-technical audiences
  • Ability to run and structure in-depth product demonstrations
  • Self-motivated and detail-oriented, able to work autonomously
  • Ability to travel 50-80% with Account Executives to communicate technical value proposition
  • An understanding of the product lifecycle, from requirements gathering all the way to maintenance support

Responsibilities

  • Establish personal rapport with potential and actual customers, vendors, and other persons
  • Collaborate with Business Development team to respond to proposals and convert clients to in-person demos
  • Attend in-person demos and assist in qualifying, demonstrating, and communicating the Mark43 platform's technical value proposition to new customers
  • Provide support to Account Executives and SDRs
  • Gather technical requirements necessary for successful migrations and integrations for new departments we work with
  • Help manage and execute new deployments and mitigate technical concerns as they arise from communications with our clients
  • Understand and communicate the product roadmap to current and future customers
