Requirements

  • Minimum of 4+ years of experience in program management
  • Minimum of 8+ years of experience in project management
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage multiple stakeholders, and drive collaboration in a matrixed environment
  • Proficient in project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall), with experience in managing complex, large-scale projects from conception to deployment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a track record of managing risks and resolving project challenges in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Strong understanding of payment processing systems, including card networks, ACH, SWIFT, mobile payments, gateways, and fraud prevention tools
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence, negotiate, and drive decisions at all levels of the organization
  • Experience managing budgets, timelines, and resource allocation effectively
  • Hands-on experience with project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Asana, Microsoft Project, Smartsheet or similar platforms

Responsibilities

  • Own and manage the overall program lifecycle, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closing of payment-related projects
  • Work closely with executive leadership to ensure all projects align with company strategy and business objectives, particularly around scalability, security, and compliance in payment processing
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product management, engineering, legal, operations, and finance to ensure project success
  • Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate risks related to timelines, resources, and deliverables across multiple projects
  • Oversee the financial and human resources allocation for engineering, ensuring efficiency and cost-effectiveness
  • Lead initiatives to streamline processes, improve efficiencies, and promote best practices within payment operations
  • Drive change management initiatives to ensure successful adoption of new processes and systems within the organization

Preferred Qualifications

  • PMP, PgMP, or other relevant project/program management certifications
  • Working methodology experience using Agile
