Requirements

  • 3+ years in sales/solutions engineering
  • An enthusiastic, strong, technical generalist
  • Strong consistent work ethic, and attention to detail
  • Adaptability and eagerness to embrace feedback
  • Familiarity with CRM software (SalesForce is a bonus!)
  • Ability to build great relationships with prospects; doing so in a fast-moving environment
  • Strong technical aptitude and the desire to become even more fluent in the product
  • Experience with cloud platforms, technologies, and patterns - AWS/GCP/Azure, docker/k8s, CI/CD, API’s, and command line tools (CLI)
  • Eagerness to engage with Product, Engineering, and GTM teams to shape our brand and our product
  • Ability to think on your feet, and solve problems during calls with technical customers
  • Genuine curiosity!

Responsibilities

  • Attain a fundamental understanding of Doppler’s product and value and be able to convey that value to potential customers interested in learning more about us
  • Demo the product, answer questions, and help prospects understand their secrets management pain points and how Doppler could mitigate those pains
  • Suss out the blockers/objections from a customer regarding adopting Doppler and navigate them
  • Use your depth of product knowledge to guide the customer on where and how they should integrate Doppler into their software stack
  • Work closely with the engineering/solutions teams to address complex customer use cases
  • Serve as the primary, ongoing technical point of contact for our users during the evaluation process
  • Hold weekly check-ins with customers during the POC
  • Dive into our codebase to understand technical limitations in Doppler that need solving via code (e.g. a bug, a missing feature, etc.) to close a deal
  • Have an organized structure for managing all POCs (POC Scoping documents, etc)
