Requirements
- 3+ years in sales/solutions engineering
- An enthusiastic, strong, technical generalist
- Strong consistent work ethic, and attention to detail
- Adaptability and eagerness to embrace feedback
- Familiarity with CRM software (SalesForce is a bonus!)
- Ability to build great relationships with prospects; doing so in a fast-moving environment
- Strong technical aptitude and the desire to become even more fluent in the product
- Experience with cloud platforms, technologies, and patterns - AWS/GCP/Azure, docker/k8s, CI/CD, APIβs, and command line tools (CLI)
- Eagerness to engage with Product, Engineering, and GTM teams to shape our brand and our product
- Ability to think on your feet, and solve problems during calls with technical customers
- Genuine curiosity!
Responsibilities
- Attain a fundamental understanding of Dopplerβs product and value and be able to convey that value to potential customers interested in learning more about us
- Demo the product, answer questions, and help prospects understand their secrets management pain points and how Doppler could mitigate those pains
- Suss out the blockers/objections from a customer regarding adopting Doppler and navigate them
- Use your depth of product knowledge to guide the customer on where and how they should integrate Doppler into their software stack
- Work closely with the engineering/solutions teams to address complex customer use cases
- Serve as the primary, ongoing technical point of contact for our users during the evaluation process
- Hold weekly check-ins with customers during the POC
- Dive into our codebase to understand technical limitations in Doppler that need solving via code (e.g. a bug, a missing feature, etc.) to close a deal
- Have an organized structure for managing all POCs (POC Scoping documents, etc)
