Remote Senior Manager, Coaching

Requirements

• 6+ years people management experience, including at least 2 years of managing managers
• Experience in a digital health organization, healthcare organization, or customer service group
• Track record of leading teams and holding teams accountable to successfully meet and exceed KPIs while influencing goals of other teams
• Demonstrated ability to proactively identify, develop, and drive new strategic initiatives or changes to improve outcomes and efficiency while scaling a team, working with cross-functional partners and/or other organizational leaders
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational skills with attentiveness to detail

Responsibilities

• Manage the development and performance of a team of Health Coach Managers (~7-10 managers) through guidance, coaching, and consistent feedback, to ensure employee engagement, quality of care delivery, and member outcomes
• Identify and execute on opportunities to improve care delivery and coaching quality as we scale via training, education, technology, etc
• Leverage data and insights to drive decisions related, but not limited to hiring, capacity planning, and performance metrics
• Clearly communicate key updates through various channels and modes of communication, including documents, presentations, and team meetings
• Advocate for and convey the needs and perspective of the coaching team to the wider organization
• Create a collaborative environment of trust, problem solving, and growth amongst the broader coach team
• Scale the coach team through effectively balancing business goals with meeting our growing demand; own hiring decisions and build a strong coach and manager pipeline
• Demonstrate and serve as a champion of the Virta and coach team values
