Requirements

  • Five or more years of experience recruiting technical talent in a startup or scaleup environment
  • Experience recruiting non-technical and executive talent is a bonus
  • Passionate about what you do and are constantly curious about best practices, strategies, and new trends in talent acquisition
  • Convey an affinity for a mission-driven vision and culture and can get candidates excited about both
  • Understand the balance between competency, technical and behavioral-based interviewing and can help design interview processes that include all three
  • Understand the importance of good data hygiene, use data to define and measure success, and formulate insights that lead to better hiring practices
  • Flexible self-starter with an operational mindset who is continually seeking ways to improve efficiency in our efforts
  • Organized and can juggle multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail

Responsibilities

  • Recruit for diverse roles and skill sets, primarily engineering and product management, as well as other roles in our Operations, Customer, and Data Teams
  • Collaborate with our leadership team to convey best practices and demonstrate effective change management
  • Constantly seek out and engage the best candidates using strategic and creative sourcing methods and utilizing your network
  • Share the Zello story, purpose, and vision to keep prospects and candidates involved and excited throughout their journey
  • Use data to understand what's going well and what's not and continuously strive to improve internal and candidate processes
  • Work with the interview team to ensure we're both interviewing successfully and selling Zello throughout the hiring process
  • Collaborate with the Head of People to provide executives with meaningful data and insights
  • Explore and identify opportunities to increase Zello's presence and brand in the talent marketplace
