Summary

Join a data-driven digital advertising and retention marketing firm as a creative Retention Marketing Specialist. You will be the technical and analytical backbone of the company’s retention marketing pod system, working alongside Account Managers and Designers to ensure flawless execution of Email/SMS flows and campaigns. You'll provide data-driven insights demonstrating clear ROI to clients. This is a remote opportunity with a US-based company. Responsibilities include technical execution, analytics and reporting, flow and campaign management, and team collaboration. The role requires experience in Email/SMS marketing and familiarity with various tools and platforms.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of experience in Email/SMS marketing
  • At least 2 years of familiarity with Shopify
  • Experience with Klaviyo or similar Email/SMS service providers
  • Proficiency with Figma for design collaboration
  • Familiarity with AI tools for data analysis and decision making
  • Strong knowledge of the Google Workspace suite
  • Experience with ClickUp and Slack
  • Analytically minded with an ability to translate data into actionable insights
  • Detail-oriented with excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Growth mindset with a passion for continuous learning and improvement
  • Positive attitude and receptive to feedback
  • Ability to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with designers to ensure Email/SMS designs align with strategy and brand guidelines
  • Manage the technical setup and scheduling of Email/SMS campaigns in Klaviyo or other ESPs
  • Implement proper list segmentation based on industry best practices and client/account manager guidance
  • Oversee the approval workflow from concept to delivery
  • Ensure optimal Email/SMS deliverability and inbox placement
  • Create comprehensive performance reports highlighting key metrics and KPIs
  • Track and analyze campaign performance with an ROI-focused mindset
  • Demonstrate how retention strategies increase average order value and customer lifetime value
  • Present clear, actionable insights to Account Managers and clients
  • Use AI tools to drive data-informed decision-making
  • Set up and optimize triggered Email/SMS flows based on customer behaviors
  • Schedule campaigns according to strategic calendars developed by Account Managers
  • Perform regular list hygiene and maintenance
  • Execute A/B tests and provide data-backed recommendations for improvements
  • Continuously monitor Email/SMS performance metrics and suggest optimizations
  • Work closely with Account Managers who develop strategies and copywriting
  • Partner with Designers to bring Email/SMS concepts to life
  • Maintain clear communication through Slack and project management tools
  • Provide technical insights during campaign planning
  • Support the pod with the timely execution of all assigned tasks
