Sales Account Executive in Belgium
Summary
FiscalNote EU Issues Tracker is looking for a Belgium-based Sales Executive to support the Brussels Business Development team. The Sales Executive will be responsible for leading demos and pitches, building and closing deals, attending industry events, and developing industry-specific policy expertise. Qualifications include a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (ideally in European Politics or international relations), 3-5+ years of B2B software or information services sales experience, consultative approach to solutions selling, demonstrated success hitting or exceeding quota, experience pairing professional services with software, experience using Salesforce, and knowledge about European/International politics and policy. Additional language skills are a plus.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (ideally in European Politics or international relations)
- 3-5+ years of B2B software or information services sales experience
- Consultative approach to solutions selling
- Demonstrated success hitting or exceeding quota
- Experience pairing professional services with software
- Experience using Salesforce
Responsibilities
- Lead demos and pitches to executives
- Strategically build, manage, and close deals in sales pipeline
- Be responsible for closing a quota of new business
- Strategically plan for account penetration
- Actively and regularly attend industry events
- Create thought leadership and sales enablement
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge about European /International politics and policy and/or a strong eagerness to deepen your knowledge on the subject
- Previous experience in the EU bubble, public affairs, and/or EU institutions
