Summary

The role of a Sales Development Representative (SDR) at Blackline Safety involves generating and qualifying new business opportunities by proactively identifying potential clients, engaging with them to understand their needs, and setting up meetings or demos for the sales team. The candidate should have at least 1 year of experience in a sales or lead generation role, preferably in the Safety and Gas Detection Industries, excellent communication skills, proficiency with CRM software, strong analytical skills, and a Bachelorโ€™s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of experience in a sales or lead generation role, preferably in Safety and Gas Detection Industries
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency with CRM software, preferably HubSpot, Microsoft Office Suite and researching tools like ZoomInfo
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Business, Marketing, related field or equivalent in relevant experience
  • English, Portuguese and/or Spanish Speaker

Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify and research potential clients through various channels
  • Initiate contact with potential clients via phone calls, emails, and social media
  • Be knowledgeable about industry standards for gas detection
  • Engage with prospects to understand their business needs and qualify leads based on predefined criteria
  • Schedule meetings or demos between leads/prospects and the sales team
  • Maintain accurate records of lead interactions and progress within our CRM system
  • Keep track of lead/prospect metrics, conversions and other sales related activities
  • Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to refine strategies and share insights on market trends and customer needs
  • Provide regular updates on lead generation activities and progress to management
