Summary

Join our team as a Sales Development Representative and be the first point of contact for potential customers, responsible for generating leads and qualifying prospects to build a robust sales pipeline.

Requirements

  • 1+ years in a business development role selling technology solutions
  • For new college graduates, a business degree with a focus on Sales & Entrepreneurship
  • Ability to execute on multi-touch campaigns leveraging the systems in place

Responsibilities

  • Conduct inbound and outbound prospecting activities via social media, email, and phone to identify and qualify potential leads
  • Consistently meet weekly quotas of Meeting Scheduled, Meetings Closed and Sales Qualified Opportunities created
  • Attend industry events and assist with booth management in search for qualified leads (up to 25% travel over a year - heavier during different times of the year)
  • Research potential companies that meet our Ideal Customer Profile
  • Research potential contacts that meet our Ideal Contact Profile
  • Participate in building messaging and campaigns that generate interest in scheduling time to meet our team
  • Update our CRM system reflecting all our key sales metrics
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to align strategies and optimize lead generation efforts
  • Provide feedback and insights to the sales and marketing teams to improve messaging and outreach tactics

Preferred Qualifications

  • Additional Technical Skills: Experience with Hubspot, Salesforce
  • Knowledge of Shopify + and other eCommerce implementation related technologies
  • Industry-Specific Experience: Experience with B2B selling in the professional services space
  • Previous work and understanding in/of the eCommerce space
