Sales Development Representative

Summary

Join LeafLink as a Sales Development Representative and generate leads for our banking and financial services tailored to licensed cannabis businesses. You will be responsible for lead generation, prospecting, cross-selling, pipeline management, outreach & engagement, collaboration, and meeting key performance metrics.

Requirements

• 1+ year of experience in a sales development or lead generation role, preferably within a SaaS, fintech, or cannabis-related company
• Demonstrated ability to prospect and qualify leads through various channels (calls, emails, social media, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Lead Generation: Identify and qualify leads for LeafLink’s banking services, focusing on licensed cannabis wholesale and retail operators
• Prospecting: Conduct research and outreach to generate interest in LeafLink’s financial products
• Cross-Selling: Support cross-sell initiatives by educating potential clients on additional products
• Pipeline Management: Collaborate with the sales team to ensure a healthy sales pipeline
• Tools & CRM: Utilize CRM tools like Salesforce, SalesLoft, or HubSpot to track prospects, manage communications, and generate reports
• Outreach & Engagement: Conduct high-volume outbound calls, emails, and social media messaging to engage with prospects and schedule meetings for the sales team
• Collaboration: Work closely with Account Executives and other internal teams to ensure a seamless handoff of qualified leads and provide insights into customer needs and market trends
• Target Tracking: Consistently meet or exceed key performance metrics such as lead generation targets, call volumes, and conversion rates

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with CRM platforms such as Salesforce, SalesLoft, or HubSpot is highly desirable
