Summary
Join Carbon, a 3D printing company revolutionizing digital dentistry, as the Director, Sales for our Oral Health team. Reporting to the SVP, Global Sales, you will lead a team of Sales Directors across North America, driving sales and achieving company goals. This role requires extensive experience in capital equipment sales to dental labs, proven leadership skills, and strong communication abilities. The ideal candidate will have a track record of success in both personal sales and team management. Preference is given to candidates based in Germany, working remotely with travel as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in pertinent area
- 7+ years’ experience in sales management
- Experience selling into Dental Labs (managing sales professionals that sell into labs a plus)
- 10+ years’ experience in direct or outside sales (B2B a plus), capital equipment a plus
- Pertinent knowledge and experience in the area of digital dentistry
- Experience selling to dental labs. (Managing sales professionals that sell to dental labs a plus)
- Strong prospecting skills and excellent closing skills
- Significant experience with Salesforce.com
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills (English and German)
- Proven ability to motivate and nurture a team of highly motivated and effective sales professionals
Responsibilities
- Motivate and energize the sales staff to make proactive decisions in all their communications with clients
- Create and advertise weekly, monthly and quarterly sales goals and keep C-level executives apprised of the progress
- Prepare sales reports and sign off on their accuracy before submitting them
- Assess the competitive landscape and institute changes to the sales program in response to competitors’ changes
- Ensure that the team has an established network with local businesses (dental labs) and find ways to maximize value from those connections
- Implement a sales training and orientation program to educate new hires as our company grows
- Reporting sales metrics to management via PowerPoint, Google Slides, Salesforce reports, or other presentation methods
- Demonstrated ability to create, hone, and oversee a winning sales strategy to ensure the company’s goals are met in the oral health vertical
- Travel (domestic) as required to support the sales force
