Summary

Join Xometry, a company connecting innovators with manufacturers, as a Sales Leader to drive sales growth in the Italian market. Lead and mentor a sales team, develop and execute sales strategies, and exceed sales targets. Monitor performance, build customer relationships, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Conduct market research and identify growth opportunities. Maintain a positive team culture and ensure individual team member success. This is a remote, full-time position based in Europe (but not Italy).

Requirements

  • Strong ability to develop and execute sales strategies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team
  • Proficiency in CRM software and data analysis tools
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills
  • Enjoy sales activities and supporting people
  • Strong people management experience
  • Successful sales track record in such industries as Rapid prototyping, Engineering, Robotics, Automation, 3D printing etc
  • IT and digitalisation enthusiast, willing to actively use modern technologies and software
  • Italian Native speaker, English - a working proficiency level
  • Readiness and willingness to work in dynamic startup environment
  • Empathetic person who can build lasting business relationships and works pro-actively in a team
  • Excellent problem solving skills and determination to achieve goals

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales strategies tailored to achieve team-specific sales targets and overall objectives
  • Collaborate closely with the Regional Sales Director to align team strategies with broader regional goals
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales representatives, ensuring they meet individual and team sales goals
  • Provide ongoing coaching and professional development opportunities to enhance team performance
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and create development plans for team members
  • Monitor and analyse sales metrics, ensuring the team meets or exceeds targets
  • Provide detailed performance reports to the Regional Sales Director, adjusting strategies as necessary based on data insights
  • Build and sustain strong relationships with key customers to enhance satisfaction and loyalty
  • Address customer concerns promptly and work with the team to ensure a high standard of customer service
  • Conduct research to identify emerging market trends and potential growth opportunities
  • Develop actionable insights and strategies to enhance market presence within the team's territory
  • Work closely with marketing, product development, and customer support teams to ensure the seamless execution of sales initiatives
  • Participate in cross-functional projects aimed at improving sales processes and outcomes
  • Achieve and maintain a minimum of 6% month-over-month sales growth within the team
  • Create and maintain a positive working culture, which could be measured by way of ENPS or other means
  • Ensure a minimum of 90% of the sales team meets or exceeds individual sales targets

Preferred Qualifications

Understanding of metalworks, 3D printing, injection moulding is a major advantage
