Summary

Join Vultr's Sales team as a Sales Manager, reporting to the VP of Sales. Lead and mentor a team of sales representatives focused on cloud and AI infrastructure solutions. Develop and implement sales strategies targeting various market segments. Build and maintain strong customer relationships. Stay updated on market trends and emerging technologies. Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless solution delivery. Report on sales performance to senior leadership. This role requires a strong understanding of cloud infrastructure and proven leadership experience in sales.

Requirements

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Business, Technology, or related field; MBA is a plus
  • 5+ years of sales experience, including 2+ years in a leadership role, preferably in cloud computing, AI/ML, or related industries
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and managing teams with measurable success
  • Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, with expertise in CPU and GPU use cases like GenAI, HPC, and traditional workloads
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Experience working with SMBs, mid-market, and enterprise customers across multiple regions (e.g., North America, APAC, Europe)

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and manage a team of sales representatives specializing in CPU and GPU cloud solutions
  • Set clear goals, KPIs, and performance benchmarks to ensure individual and team success. Coach the team on sales process and methodology (MEDDICC)
  • Foster a high-performance, collaborative, and customer-focused culture within the team
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to penetrate target segments, including SMBs, mid-market, and Enterprise companies
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Solution Engineering, and Channel Partners to drive leads, build pipeline, and close deals
  • Identify growth opportunities in strategic industries, such as AI/ML, Software, Healthcare, Finance, and Telecom
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and prospects
  • Understand customer needs, advocate Vultrโ€™s value proposition, and position solutions to address customer challenges
  • Ensure an exceptional customer experience throughout the sales cycle
  • Stay informed on market trends, emerging technologies (e.g., NVIDIA Blackwell, AMD MI300X, etc.), and the competitive landscape
  • Translate industry insights into actionable strategies for the team
  • Partner with the Product, Solutions Engineering, and Customer Success teams to ensure seamless delivery of customer solutions
  • Report on sales performance, forecasts, and market feedback to senior leadership
