Summary
Join Calyxo, Inc., a medical device company, as a Salesforce Administrator and become the subject matter expert for all things Salesforce. This critical role involves optimizing and scaling the Salesforce platform to support various teams. You will partner with stakeholders to gather business requirements, design and maintain Salesforce features, manage user access and security, monitor system performance, and provide user training and support. The position requires a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator, a Salesforce Administrator Certification, and a Bachelor’s degree. Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator
- Salesforce Administrator Certification required; Advanced Administrator certification preferred
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- Strong understanding of Salesforce best practices, standard functionality, and limitations
- Demonstrated experience with declarative automation tools (Flows, Process Builder, Workflow Rules)
- Familiarity with integration platforms (e.g., Celigo, Zapier) and ETL tools
- Strong problem-solving, organization, and project management skills
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interface with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong attention to detail
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary system administrator for the company’s Salesforce org (Sales Cloud, potentially Experience Cloud)
- Partner with various stakeholders (e.g. Commercial, Marketing, Customer Service, Legal) to gather business requirements and translate them into scalable Salesforce solutions
- Design, build, and maintain flows, validation rules, custom objects, and other declarative features
- Manage user setup, roles, profiles, permissions, and security settings
- Monitor system performance, usage, and data quality; implement improvements where needed
- Assist with system integrations and enhancements (e.g. Celigo), including third-party connected apps and internal tools (e.g., Netsuite, marketing automation, Conga)
- Provide training and support to end-users on Salesforce functionality and best practices
- Create reports and dashboards with actionable insights to functional business owners
- Collaborate with external consultants on more complex development solutions requiring Apex, Visualforce, or Lightning Web Components
- Perform other administrative tasks and assist with projects as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud; Experience Cloud and/or Field Service Lightning is a plus
- Experience working in a regulated or healthcare/life sciences environment is a strong plus
- Experience with reporting tools (e.g., Tableau) and data architecture concepts
- Background or familiarity with commercial operations in the medical device industry
- Experience with agile methodologies and project management tools (e.g., Jira)
