Summary
Join our HR team as a Seasonal HR Specialist for a 3-month, 40-hour-per-week remote contract (PST). This role focuses on supporting recruitment efforts during peak hiring season. You will manage job postings, source candidates, conduct interviews, and facilitate onboarding. Success requires strong communication and organizational skills, along with experience in recruitment or HR. The ideal candidate is passionate about matching people with the right jobs and comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
Requirements
- Proven experience in recruitment or HR, preferably in a seasonal or high-volume hiring environment
- Strong ability to communicate effectively with candidates, hiring managers, and team members
- Knowledge of recruitment best practices and candidate sourcing techniques
- Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and MS Office Suite
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- High attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information
- Positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, and a passion for helping people find the right job
Responsibilities
- Manage the posting of job openings, resume reviews, candidate shortlisting, and facilitate onboarding discussions
- Source candidates through various channels such as job boards, social media platforms, and employee referrals
- Conduct phone and virtual interviews (via Zoom or Google Meet) to evaluate candidates' skills, experience, and cultural fit
- Collaborate with the internal HR team to understand staffing needs and job requirements
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of candidate information and hiring progress in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
- Provide a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process
- Handle administrative tasks related to recruitment, such as scheduling interviews and sending follow-up communications
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelorβs degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
