Summary
Join april as a Senior Account Executive - Wealth Management and play a pivotal role in our business growth. Reporting to the President and Chief Operating Officer, you will be responsible for closing large deals and building relationships with major fintech, banking, and wealth management clients. This full-cycle position involves discovering, qualifying, building relationships, negotiating, and onboarding new clients. You will leverage account-based sales strategies and utilize CRM systems to track progress. Success in this role requires significant experience in B2B SaaS sales within the wealth management sector and a proven ability to close substantial deals. Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years of full-cycle, solution-selling B2B Saas 5+ years into wealth management firms, including RIAs, IBDs, and/or wirehouses
- Strong business acumen with the ability to understand client business contexts, markets, customers, competitors, and pitch solutions catered to client-specific needs and priorities
- A solid understanding of how to help partners identify their pain points and develop unique value propositions that focus on delivering ROI to the client
- Experience in negotiating and closing SaaS deals with $100K-$500K figure annual contract sizes
- Exceptional executive presence, including an ability to engage C-Suite audiences
- Experience using and advancing CRM systems to meet our needs
- Experience partnering cross-functionally with product, marketing, customer success, etc. to drive growth and build tailored communications and solutions for clients
- A drive to innovate and think creatively
Responsibilities
- Hunt new business: Source new sales opportunities through highly targeted and strategic outbound calls and emails by partnering with our Marketing and Sales Development Teams
- Close new business: Develop and manage your own book of business and be compensated for your success in driving the organizationβs growth. This is a hunter role that targets net new logos
- Become an april product expert and assist buyers through the purchasing process by qualifying, negotiating, and closing sales opportunities
- Leveraging account-based Sales, determine the most effective methods to open new prospects leveraging previous successes and earned relationships
- Meet with partners to build strong relationships, drive commitment, and understand their motivators
- Update CRM system to document all activities on opportunities and follow-ups
Benefits
Salary: $145,000 - $165,000 (base salary)
