Join FluentStream, a rapidly growing SaaS company, as a highly motivated and results-oriented Senior Account Executive. This player/coach role combines individual sales contributions with team leadership and mentorship. You will generate new business revenue, manage the entire sales cycle, exceed sales quotas, and build a strong sales pipeline. Simultaneously, you will guide and support a small team of Account Executives, sharing best practices and fostering a collaborative environment. This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact and develop into a future Sales Manager role within a high-performing sales organization. The position offers a competitive base salary plus uncapped commissions.
Requirements
- Proven track record of success in B2B technology sales, preferably within the UCaaS or telecommunications industry
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience as an Account Executive, consistently exceeding sales targets
- At least 2 years of experience managing sales teams, with a proven track record of providing effective guidance to help the team consistently exceed sales targets
- Demonstrated leadership qualities and experience mentoring or coaching others
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Strong understanding of solution selling methodologies and consultative sales approach
- Ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients
- Proficiency in Office Software: Basic proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides) for managing communications, presentations, and data
Responsibilities
- Generate new business revenue by acquiring new customers
- Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to close, including prospecting, qualifying leads, conducting product demonstrations, developing proposals, negotiating contracts, and closing deals
- Consistently exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities
- Develop and execute effective sales strategies to target key accounts and verticals
- Accurately forecast sales activity and revenue through CRM tools
- Assist with building a small team of Account Executives
- Provide guidance and support to a small team of Account Executives
- Share sales best practices, product knowledge, and industry expertise
- Assist team members with developing their sales skills and achieving their individual quotas
- Contribute to the creation and implementation of sales training programs
- Foster a positive and collaborative team environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience selling through telecom and IT channels is highly desired
- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and other sales tools like email tracking software, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or sales automation tools is a plus
Benefits
A base salary of $80,000-$110,000 + uncapped commissions
