Summary

Lemonade is seeking a Senior Business Development Manager to forge new distribution opportunities for their fast-growing products. The role involves shaping and executing Lemonade's distribution strategy, building key relationships, leading cross-functional partnership initiatives, acting as a thought partner to management, and delivering actionable insights. Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in business development, preferably at a fast-growing tech company or tech-focused insurance company, ability to deliver value fast with attention to detail, creativity, drive, communication skills, organizational skills, systematic and data-driven mindset, passion for building relationships, and ability to work collaboratively across different time zones.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in business development
• Ability to deliver value fast, but with impeccable attention to detail
• Creativity, drive, a talent for communication and a passion for collaborating with diverse partners
• Organizational skills, a systematic and data-driven mindset with a demonstrated comfort in using data platforms
• A passion for building relationships, identifying common interests, and harnessing resources both inside and outside of an organization
• Adept at working both individually and collaboratively across different time zones with preference to EST

Responsibilities

• Build and implement Lemonade's partnership distribution strategy
• Lead cross-functional partnership initiatives, working with multiple internal and external teams including R&D, Product, Legal, and Finance
• Act as a thought partner to management and leadership
