Requirements

  • Proven Track Record in Software Sales: Demonstrated success in selling cloud-based or B2B software solutions, preferably in the energy or utilities sector
  • Strong Cold Calling Skills: Confident and experienced in initiating contact and qualifying leads through outbound calls
  • Process-Driven & Organized: Excellent follow-up habits, task tracking, and pipeline management across multiple tools and platforms
  • Goal-Oriented & Self-Starter: Self-motivated with a strong drive to meet and exceed targets in a remote environment
  • Business Development Background: 2–4 years of hands-on experience in roles such as BDR, SDR, or Business Development, ideally focused on software or the energy sector, with a solid understanding of outbound strategies and client acquisition
  • Full Sales Cycle Management: Demonstrated ability to independently handle every stage of the sales process from cold outreach to closing while maintaining consistent pipeline momentum
  • Proficiency with Modern Sales Tools: Comfortable using platforms like Slack, ClickUp, Notion, and GitHub for daily sales operations, internal communication, project tracking, and collaboration
  • Cold Calling & Lead Engagement: Skilled in cold outreach with the confidence to handle high call volumes, overcome objections, and engage potential clients in meaningful sales conversations
  • Exceptional Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities, combined with persuasive negotiation techniques and a natural ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders

Responsibilities

  • Outbound Prospecting & Cold Calling: Identify and engage potential software clients in the energy sector. Use cold calling, email, and strategic outreach to generate qualified leads
  • Lead Generation Strategy: Research and identify high-potential clients in the energy sector. Use market intelligence and data-driven targeting to build a steady pipeline of qualified prospects
  • Client Relationship Management: Build strong relationships with prospects and convert them into long-term clients. Understand their needs and provide solutions aligned with Intelligent Core’s offerings
  • Full-Cycle Sales Execution: Manage the entire sales process from prospecting to close. Deliver compelling product demos, lead negotiations, and close deals with confidence
  • Sales Tools & CRM Usage: Leverage tools such as Google Meets, Slack, ClickUp, Harvest, Notion, and GitHub for communication, project coordination, and client engagement
  • Team Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with product, customer success, and marketing teams to ensure seamless handoff and client satisfaction

Preferred Qualifications

Industry Familiarity: Experience sourcing and closing software clients in the energy sector is a major plus
