Summary
Join VergeSense's growing AMER sales team as a Business Development Representative (BDR)! In this fully remote US-based role, you'll be the first point of contact for prospects, initiating customer acquisition through various outreach methods. You'll need strong communication and sales skills, a proven problem-solving approach, and a desire for career advancement. The ideal candidate has 1-2 years of relevant experience and a bachelor's degree. Requirements
- Familiarity with the AMER enterprise market as your main territory
- Bachelorβs degree and 1-2 years of relevant work experience
- Some level of sales experience
- Strong communication skills via phone and email
- Grit, thrives at outbound communication, not afraid to pick up the phone
- Proven creative problem-solving approach and strong analytical skills
- Strong desire and ability to move up within a sales organization
Responsibilities
- Initiate the first phases of acquiring new customers by conducting cold call, LinkedIn, and email outreach across a variety of campaigns and programs
- Be the first line of communication with prospects
- Research leads
- Start new relationships
- Set up qualified Discovery Calls for AEs
- Showcase our offerings compellingly
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency with Salesforce or other CRM software
- Proficiency with LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Zoominfo, SalesLoft, or other networking tools
- Prior experience as a sales development rep with a track record of achieving and exceeding sales quota
