Summary
Join Rankings.io as a Business Development Representative and play a key role in identifying and nurturing relationships with potential clients. You will be responsible for driving sales and expanding our client base by utilizing various sales techniques, including cold calls and email outreach. This position requires proven experience in business development, strong communication skills, and proficiency in CRM software. Requirements
- Have proven work experience as a Business Development Representative, Sales Account Executive, or similar role
- Have hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (including cold calls)
- Have a track record of achieving sales quotas
- Have experience with CRM software (e.g., HubSpot)
- Be familiar with MS Excel (analyzing spreadsheets and charts)
- Have an understanding of sales performance metrics
- Possess excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Have the ability to deliver engaging presentations
Responsibilities
- Make a minimum of 50 dials per day if 1 appointment is set
- Make a minimum of 40 dials per day if 2 appointments are set
- There is no minimum number of dials if 2 appointments are set
- Set up 12 appointments per month
- Hold 10 meetings per month
- Maintain an 80% show rate
- Assist other BDRs with questions and training
- Contact potential clients through cold calls and emails
- Present the company to potential clients
- Identify client needs and suggest appropriate products/services
- Build long-term trusting relationships with clients
- Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
- Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) clients and Account Executives
- Report to the Business Development Manager on (weekly/monthly/quarterly) sales results
- Stay up-to-date with new products/services and new pricing/payment plans
