Requirements

  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in commissions, revenue operations, or compensation
  • Experience with third-party commission platforms (e.g., Spiff, Xactly, CaptivateIQ)
  • Proficiency in Salesforce CRM is required
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite
  • Highly detail-oriented and organized
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work cross-functionally
  • Self-starter with the ability to handle multiple priorities under tight deadlines
  • Demonstrates professional integrity, ethical judgment, and discretion

Responsibilities

  • Accurately calculate and process monthly and quarterly commission payouts for the GTM and Account Management teams in alignment with payroll deadlines
  • Review and validate supporting data and reports to ensure accurate compensation
  • Maintain thorough documentation of commission processes, policies, and payment governance
  • Create and distribute compensation plans to the GTM and Account Management teams
  • Administer and update the commission management system (e.g., Spiff) to ensure accurate and timely processing
  • Contribute to the development and documentation of long-term compensation strategy
  • Collaborate with sales teams to manage deal changes and resolve commission-related inquiries or disputes
  • Partner with leadership to design or modify compensation plans based on changes in role, team structure, or company goals
  • Identify and implement process improvements to drive accuracy and efficiency in commission administration
  • Provide commission reports and insights to business leaders, enabling strategic decision-making
  • Participate in ad hoc projects as the need arises
