Summary

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, business, or related field. MBA Preferred
• 10+ years relevant product marketing experience and 5+ years in field sales management, strategic marketing, and/or thought leaders
• Demonstrated leadership skills leading Marketing and Commercial teams
• Experience and the desire to work within a fast-paced work environment
• Must have proven ability to operate independently
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written presentation skills
• Demonstrated experience in segmentation, targeting, and positioning to lead franchise
• Strong analytical and qualitative skills
• Experience working effectively and collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• Must demonstrate knowledge of the US legal-regulatory environment affecting appropriate promotional activities
• Proven track record for consistently meeting or exceeding financial and/or other quantitative targets

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of marketing strategies to support HEPLISAV-B in the US Market
• Develop/communicate a compelling vision and purpose for the brand team
• Work cross-functionally by partnering with Medical Affairs, Regulatory Affairs, Commercial Analytics, Public Relations, and Sales Leadership
• Evolve and refine brand strategy based on clinical and market insights
• Communicate with key thought leaders in the Ecosystem
• Collaborate with internal colleagues to plan, refine, and execute disease-focused tactics/programs aimed at appropriately driving HEPLISAV-B awareness
• Manage vendor/agency activities as required as well as department budget
• Comply with all laws, regulations, and policies that govern the conduct of Dynavax activities
• Support the organization in maintaining a work environment focused on quality

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience leading brand marketing teams with direct reports in a headquarter setting
• Vaccine marketing experience is preferred
• Experience in pharmaceutical or biotech sales and/or sales management is a plus

Benefits

• The estimated salary range for this position is $260,000 to $287,000
• Final pay determinations may depend on various factors
• The total compensation package for this position also includes other compensation elements such as stock equity awards and participation in our Company’s discretionary annual bonus program
