Summary

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field
  • 10+ years of media planning and buying experience, with at least 6 years in a leadership role
  • Deep knowledge of digital, social, traditional, and programmatic media
  • Proficiency in media platforms and tools (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, MediaOcean, Nielsen)
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize data and provide strategic insights
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and inspire

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of integrated media strategies that align with client objectives and deliver measurable results
  • Serve as a key point of contact for clients, offering strategic counsel and fostering strong relationships
  • Partner with Creative and Brand Strategy teams to ensure seamless integration of media plans with broader campaigns
  • Mentor and manage a team of media planners and buyers, fostering growth and development
  • Oversee team workflows, ensuring high-quality output and adherence to deadlines
  • Promote a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the Media department
  • Oversee the execution and optimization of campaigns across digital, social, traditional, and emerging channels
  • Monitor campaign performance, analyze results, and provide actionable insights to clients and internal stakeholders
  • Ensure budgets are managed effectively, identifying opportunities to maximize efficiency and ROI
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, emerging technologies, and media opportunities to drive innovation
  • Build and maintain relationships with media vendors, securing value-added opportunities for clients
  • Advocate for new ideas and approaches to push boundaries and deliver exceptional results

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience with government affairs, public policy, and policymaker audience
