Summary

Join Halcyon, a leading anti-ransomware platform company, as a Senior Director of Product Marketing. Lead and scale the product marketing function, owning the go-to-market strategy. Develop compelling narratives that differentiate Halcyon in a competitive market. Drive positioning, messaging, competitive intelligence, analyst relations, and sales enablement. This critical leadership role bridges product, sales, customer success, and marketing teams. You will build and lead a team of product marketers, setting priorities and KPIs. The role requires extensive experience in B2B product marketing and cybersecurity.

Requirements

  • Credible with technical audiencesโ€”able to speak fluently with CISOs, security analysts/operations, and analysts
  • Strategic thinker with hands-on ability to execute in a fast-moving environment
  • Outcome-oriented, collaborative, and highly driven by customer insight and market feedback
  • Experience with analyst relations (Gartner, Forrester) and shaping Magic Quadrant or Wave strategy
  • 12+ years of experience in B2B product marketing, with at least 5+ years in cybersecurity
  • Deep understanding of the cybersecurity buyer journey, security operations, and threat landscape
  • Proven success launching and positioning complex technical products in a competitive market
  • Strong team leadership experience with the ability to scale and mentor a high-performance team
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a knack for storytelling and translating technical details into business value
  • Proficiency in tools such as Salesforce, HubSpot/Marketo, Crayon/Klue, and sales enablement platforms
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field; MBA or technical background a plus

Responsibilities

  • Own and evolve the product marketing strategy across our anti-ransomware platform and services aligning with business and revenue objectives
  • Lead and grow a team of product marketers; set clear priorities, frameworks, and KPIs
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to product management, sales leadership, and executive stakeholders
  • Define clear, differentiated messaging and positioning that resonates with security buyers (CISOs, Security Analysts/Ops, IT leadership)
  • Translate complex technical capabilities into value-based stories aligned with threat landscapes and buyer pain points
  • Lead cross-functional GTM planning and execution for product launches, major updates, and new solution areas
  • Develop content that drives awareness, demand, and pipelineโ€”tailored to different buyer personas and market segments
  • Build and deliver sales and partner enablement tools including battlecards, competitive playbooks, talk tracks, objection handling guides, and win-loss insights
  • Partner with sales enablement and revenue teams to improve deal velocity and win rates through training and toolkits
  • Conduct ongoing competitive and market research, delivering actionable intelligence to product and go-to-market teams for use in thought leadership, PR, marketing programs, and sales material
  • Track industry trends, customer challenges, and emerging threats to shape product roadmap and marketing strategy
  • Serve as a spokesperson and trusted expert for internal and external audiences, including analysts, media, and high-value customers
  • Source and amplify customer success stories, case studies, and testimonials that validate market impact and build trust
