Summary
Join 1Password's Revenue Marketing team as a Sr. Expansion Marketing Manager, Upmarket, and lead the development and execution of targeted programs to drive expansion demand and revenue within the customer base. Design innovative cross-sell and upsell strategies, create engaging post-sales buyer journeys, and leverage multiple marketing channels for impactful campaigns. Collaborate cross-functionally to align messaging with customer needs, identify new targeting opportunities, and optimize program performance. Ensure programs resonate with enterprise buyer personas and deliver measurable growth. This remote US-based role offers the opportunity to own impactful programs, enable field teams, and contribute to expansion revenue growth in upmarket segments. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of B2B demand generation experience, deep understanding of enterprise buyer personas, and proven success in developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns.
Requirements
- Experience: 8+ years of B2B demand generation, customer marketing, ABM experience or related with a preference for experience in a technology, cybersecurity or SaaS industry
- Upmarket & customer expertise: Deep understanding of commercial and enterprise buyer personas, particularly within IT, Security, or similar domains. Experience with ABM and a deep understanding of multi-threading and enterprise buying processes. Deep understanding of different customer contact types and personas
- Program development: Strong understanding and experience in B2B campaign strategy, framework, development, and execution and proven success with owning, designing and executing integrated marketing campaigns that drive pipeline and revenue growth
- Cross-functional collaboration: Experience working closely with sales, product, and marketing teams, with a demonstrated ability to communicate and influence across departments
- Data-driven decision-making: Advanced ability to analyze data to measure success and refine strategies for improved results
- Excellent communication skills: Strong writing, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas to a range of audiences
- Growth mindset: A proactive, innovative approach to marketing, with a desire to continuously learn and adapt to evolving market trends and change
Responsibilities
- Drive expansion demand strategy: Lead, develop and execute targeted cross-sell, upsell, and demand programs designed to create and grow customer expansion pipeline for upmarket segments (Commercial and Enterprise)
- Strategic collaboration and partnership: Work with Sales, Customer Success, Customer Experience, Product Marketing to understand and identify core messages that address customer needs
- Identify new opportunities for targeting the customer base: You will work with marketing and revenue operations to understand contact reach, determine customer segmentations and data requirements needed for building targeted programs
- Program development and execution: Lead the creation of targeted expansion programs that address customer needs and drive growth within the customer base. You will partner with solutions marketing, product marketing and content marketing to develop the post-sales buyer journey and develop engaging content and offers to educate customers on new offerings. You will leverage marketing channels like digital, ABM, social, email, in-product messaging, events, high-value content, and community to create programs that engage and educate buyers and decision makers within the customer base
- Outbound plays: Create outbound cross-sell and upsell plays for AEs, BDRs and CSMs to drive expansion revenue growth, targeted at known, engaged customer contacts and identify new contacts in customer accounts. You will partner and align with Segment marketing and GTM leadership on the outbound strategy and activation and enablement of the field
- Own program performance and optimization: You will own and report on program performance, share learnings with key stakeholders and leverage this data to optimize or create new programs that contribute to expansion pipeline growth
