Senior Finance Executive in Malaysia

The team is looking for a passionate and dynamic individual to join them as an Accountant to run day-to-day operations for their HQ and local team and contribute to the growth of the regional accounting function.

Requirements

• Degree in accountancy or equivalent professional qualification (CPA, ACCA)
• Minimum 2 years of working experience in external audit or related fields
• Good understanding of IFRS and tax regulations
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Experience with SAP B1

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely and accurate completion of monthly closing activities
• Prepare monthly management reports and financial statements for local and group reporting
• Support compliance and audit matters
• Leverage technology to constantly improve productivity and quality of the financial reporting process
• Liaise and work closely with key business stakeholders across various regions and functions to address accounting issues and queries
