Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in demand generation, growth marketing, or product marketing, with expertise in email/database marketing and webinars
  • A strong ability to craft compelling narratives and campaigns that resonate with target audiences
  • Skilled in marketing automation and analytics tools (e.g., Marketo, HubSpot, Klaviyo, Google Analytics)
  • Demonstrated success in using customer insights and performance data to refine marketing strategies and deliver results
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally with marketing, product, sales, and design teams

Responsibilities

  • Develop attention-grabbing multi-channel marketing campaigns to drive customer acquisition across email, SMS, events, affiliate and influencer channels
  • Help us scale up our webinar & virtual conference channel to drive interest and engagement among the SMB audience
  • Host/moderate engaging webinars, leveraging a network of thought leaders and speakers in the logistics space
  • Build and execute lifecycle marketing strategies tailored to every stage of the buyer’s journey
  • Consistently build on our inbound and outbound database campaigns and grow the database over time through proven lead generation strategies
  • Partner with eCommerce influencers, affiliate partners and trade associations to expand demand generation beyond our network
  • Craft and refine brand and product messaging to address customer pain points and differentiate our solution effectively
  • Conduct ongoing customer research to inform messaging and campaigns
  • Own GTM process in collaboration with VP Marketing, ensuring new features and product positioning aligns with needs of the customer
  • Manage relationships with external website agencies to continuously optimize the Saltbox website, driving performance enhancements through strategic content updates and modular improvements aligned with business objectives
  • Collaborate with sales, product and customer success teams to align marketing efforts with business goals
  • Work closely with the paid growth marketing, content marketing and community leads to achieve a consistent and delightful customer experience
  • Use customer data, market trends, and campaign performance to inform and optimize marketing strategies
  • Test and iterate on messaging, offers, and strategies to improve conversion rates and ROI
  • Leverage AI and the latest martech to improve deliverability, engagement and response rates
  • Monitor industry shifts to ensure our strategies meet the evolving needs of SMBs scaling their businesses
