Summary

Join Chainguard as our first International GTM Operations hire to support our expanding EMEA & APJ presence. You will be responsible for market analysis, developing GTM strategies, enabling international sales teams, tracking performance, and collaborating cross-functionally. This role requires managing deal reviews, working with the legal team, and partnering closely with the VP of International Sales. Ideal candidates possess extensive international business acumen, strategic planning skills, and data analysis proficiency. Requirements

  • Have experience and exposure to how a SaaS/software company operates in EMEA/internationally
  • Possess understanding of global market dynamics, cultural differences, and legal considerations. Minimum of 5+ years' experience
  • Have the ability to develop and execute comprehensive GTM strategies for multiple markets
  • Be proficient in using data to inform decision-making and identify market opportunities
  • Have effective communication and alignment with diverse teams across different regions
  • Have the ability to manage complex international projects and timelines

Responsibilities

  • Bring knowledge of international markets to identify potential customer segments, the competitive landscape, and regulatory considerations
  • Design tailored GTM strategies for each international market, considering cultural nuances and local business practices
  • Provide training and support to international sales teams on product knowledge, market messaging, and local sales processes and tools
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) across international markets and advise on areas for improvement
  • Work closely with product teams, legal, finance, and other departments to ensure smooth international operations
  • Manage EMEA-based deal review and processing for our EMEA sales team
  • Review and engage with the broader legal team on commonly negotiated terms in accordance with legal’s playbook
  • Act as a close partner to the VP of International Sales

Preferred Qualifications

Have experience with a US HQ software company with an international presence
