Summary

Join Airbnb's Marketing Operations team as a Senior Marketing Operations Lead and lead biannual marketing planning and roadmapping. You will maintain the organization-wide roadmap, design improvements for marketing systems and processes, and develop operational frameworks to enhance efficiency. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Creative, Finance, and Talent, on special projects. Support Marketing leadership with regular updates and presentations. This role requires 12+ years of experience in global marketing operations, strategy, or management consulting, along with experience working with global marketing organizations and strong business acumen. The position is US-remote eligible, with occasional office work or offsite attendance.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience in global marketing operations, strategy & operations, and/or management consulting (or the equivalent)
  • Experience working with a global marketing organization across marketing and creative disciplines (Strategy, Brand, Product/Marcom, Growth, Media, Creative, Production, etc.)
  • Structured thinker with strong business acumen
  • Experience partnering with Finance (FP&A, Strategic Finance) and Analytics/Data Science
  • Experience establishing systems and developing processes in a dynamically scaling environment
  • Ability to take a vague problem, crisply frame the challenge, identify a path forward, and drive an initiative over the finish-line in a timely fashion
  • Passion for cross-functional collaboration, particularly given the functional structure and collaborative culture of Airbnb
  • Strong spirit of ownership and responsibility, balanced with a low-ego willingness to partner closely with others to achieve alignment and buy-in
  • Ability to own the work in a hands-on way and be in the details
  • Ability to effectively communicate and influence decisions at all levels

Responsibilities

  • Lead biannual Marketing planning and roadmapping, in partnership with Marketing and Creative leadership, Finance, and other cross-functional partners
  • Maintain the org-wide trusted โ€˜source of truthโ€™ roadmap
  • Design new and/or step-change improvements for systems and processes used across Marketing
  • Develop operational frameworks, processes, and resources that continue to improve operating clarity, focus, and efficiency as Airbnb and our Marketing continue to scale globally
  • Drive cross-functional special projects, as prioritized by the Head of Marketing. E.g., facilitating cross-functional process definition and role clarity for 0->1 initiatives, designing a prioritization framework for assessing and operationalizing new growth pillars
  • Support the rhythm of business for Marketing leadership (e.g., Executive team updates, leadership reviews, leadership offsite content)
