Requirements

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for communicating ideas and information clearly, accurately, and tactfully
  • Strong sense of discernment and judgment, and proven problem-solving skills with attention to detail and follow-up
  • Experience in a high-growth startup environment with constant change and a focus on scale, growth and efficiency
  • A driven, self-motivated, and enthusiastic individual with a 'can-do' attitude
  • Someone who has a results-driven mentality, with a bias for speed and action
  • Strong analytical skills, data driven HR experience
  • Ability to lead change by working effectively with cross-functional partners
  • Someone who has 8-12 years of relevant Employee Relations Experiences or Human Resources Experience or similar role

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the main point of contact for employee relations concerns, questions, and guidance across the organization
  • Conduct and lead escalated investigations by gathering and analyzing facts and come to a resolution
  • Partner with Legal/Compliance team in conducting investigations and HR leaders to provide counsel and facilitate effective resolutions of workplace concerns
  • Oversee and manage involuntary separations for both performance and role eliminations
  • Assist in creating insights from data to inform ER best practices
  • Develop and maintain close relationships with senior leaders and HRBPs to be a key partner across the organization
  • Interpret and apply understanding of Abnormal policies, employment law and other regulations to provide recommendations to the business
  • Coach and advise managers on employee underperformance, terminations, accommodations and complex leaves
  • Become an expert on our people processes, policies, employee resources, and systems and help us maintain and consolidate employee resources
  • Train managers on People systems, programs, policies, and procedures by helping to create and maintain materials that communicate to employees and leaders effectively
  • Identify trends and themes across the team and recommend modifications to existing People programs and processes or, in some cases, the creation of new ones
  • Help identify new opportunities for the People Team initiatives through data, analytics, insights, and design thinking
  • Be a champion and advocate of our mission, values, and culture by fostering values-driven solutions
