The ideal candidate will have 5-8 years of software product marketing experience, familiarity with relevant domains, strong analytical and leadership skills, and a bachelor's degree. Some travel is required. The salary range varies based on location.
Requirements
- 5-8 years of software product marketing experience
- Familiarity with the cloud, infrastructure, security, IT operations, and/or developer tool domains
- Deep customer focus and curiosity
- Self-starter with the ability to analyze ambiguous situations, develop a plan, execute and iterate
- Proven history of successful collaboration with Marketing, Sales, and R&D teams
- Excellent analytical, written, and verbal skills
- Strong leadership skills
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Some travel required
Responsibilities
- Plan the launch of new products and releases and manage the cross-functional implementation of the plan
- Develop and iterate positioning and messaging anchored on customer aspirations, product truth, and competitive reality for Radar and the Secure Lifecycle Management portfolio
- Be an expert on our buyers, how they buy, and their buying criteria; understand the market landscape and how to position the product competitively. Serve as the voice of the customer to the internal product-focused teams to reinforce solving customer challenges
- Partner with the demand generation team to create the infrastructure campaigns for the company to generate interest in our solutions and build pipeline
- Use your domain knowledge, technical expertise, and understanding of our target personas to build the content that best explains the business value of our commercial offerings
- Create and maintain content to educate our sales team and the partner community on how best to position the HashiCorp’s infrastructure portfolio for long-term value creation
- Work with the product, engineering, sales, and marketing teams to ensure your initiatives are effective and driving results for the company

- $178,500 — $210,000 USD (SF Bay Area / NYC area)
- $163,600 — $192,500 USD (Seattle Metro, Denver / Boulder Metro, New York (excluding NYC), Washington D.C., or California (excluding SF Bay Area))
- $148,800 — $175,000 USD (Colorado (excluding Denver / Boulder Metro) and Washington (excluding Seattle Metro))
