Summary

Join Granicus as a Proposal Manager and contribute to the development of winning proposals for government agencies. You will be responsible for proposal development, managing schedules and resources, coordinating inputs and reviews, and ensuring bid strategy implementation. Requirements

  • Have 3-5 years of experience as an RFP Manager or writing, editing, and coordinating responses to RFPs/RFIs, including government bids (federal, state and local)
  • Have experience directly supporting a sales organization, and experience in managing a library of information that can be accessed and used easily
  • Be able to work well under pressure and respond to fast-changing priorities and deadlines
  • Be an excellent team player with the ability to motivate cross-functional teams
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, including writing for sales/marketing needs in a technical environment
  • Have experience leveraging CRM tools (i.e., Salesforce)
  • Possess strong project management skills, able to identify needs, develop effective solutions and manage projects through to completion
  • Possess strong interpersonal relationship building skills
  • Possess strong analytical skills with the ability to problem-solve to well-judged decisions
  • Be a strong team-player with the ability to engage with all levels of the organization

Responsibilities

  • Develop proposals, maintaining schedules and organizing resources
  • Coordinate inputs and reviews for proposals
  • Ensure bid strategy implementation
  • Resolve internal team issues and provide process leadership
  • Leverage previous responses and templates while coordinating and soliciting input from cross-functional teams to develop winning proposals
  • Responsible for Granicus information security by appropriately preserving the Confidentiality, Integrity, and Availability (CIA) of Granicus information assets in accordance with the company's information security program
  • Responsible for ensuring the data privacy of our employees and customers, their data, as well as taking all required privacy training in a timely manner, in accordance with company policies

Preferred Qualifications

  • Have a Diploma/Degree specialization in Business, Communications or a related field
  • Have a Professional Certification in Proposal Management (e.g., APMP Professional Certification)
  • Have experience working within a technical or engineering organization/knowledge of the high-technology industry
  • Have advanced skills in Microsoft Word and experience with large and complex document formatting techniques
  • Be proficient with Microsoft Excel, Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft Project, and PowerPoint
  • Possess strong business writing, editing, and communication skills
  • Have excellent attention to detail and a high regard for accuracy and quality
  • Have an understanding of financial and legal terms and functions, along with experience working with budgets and schedules (e.g., Gantt charts)
  • Possess strong interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills with the ability to work successfully in a fast-paced environment with changing workload demands
