Senior Revenue Accountant, Remote - Worldwide

Summary

The job is for a Senior Revenue Accountant at Clipboard Health, a rapidly growing tech startup in the healthcare talent market. The role involves managing month-end close, process improvements, and ASC 606 analyses. The candidate should have 3+ years of accounting experience, advanced MS Excel skills, excellent communication skills, and preferably experience with ASC 606, CPA, Big Four experience, technology or high-growth company operating in a SOX environment, Master’s degree in accounting or equivalent field, and NetSuite.

Requirements

• 3+ years of recent and relevant accounting experience
• Advanced MS Excel skills and experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Prepare and book journal entries to ensure the appropriate revenue, cost and AR treatments
• Complete ASC 606 analyses for new revenue contracts and revenue streams
• Assist with monthly accounting close including analyzing fluctuations and providing meaningful financial reporting
• Understand relevant accounting principles and communicate such principles to peers and business partners, primarily in written form
• Analyze current procedures and make recommendations to develop and drive process improvements to achieve efficiency and scalability
• Operate with minimum supervision
• Support external audit process and create improvements for any inefficiencies identified
• Assist in implementation, maintenance, and adherence to internal controls and accounting procedures ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with ASC 606 Revenue Recognition
• CPA and recent Big Four experience
• Experience in a technology or high-growth company operating in a SOX environment
• Master’s degree in accounting or equivalent field
• Experience with NetSuite
