Requirements

  • 5-7 years of quota-carrying, outside business-to-consumer, or relevant business-to-business sales experience
  • Availability to work at least a weekend day and during evening hours, aligned with Pacific Standard Time (PST)
  • Proven track record of prospecting for leads, closing sales, and winning clients
  • BA/BS or advanced degree

Responsibilities

  • Develop an understanding of the students’ needs and goals, educate them on Empowerly's counselors and platform, and develop solutions that will help them explore opportunities to be accepted to their top choice colleges
  • Identify, develop, closing, and on-boarding new Empowerly families
  • Achieve sales goals by identifying, nurturing, and enrolling new clients
  • Work cross-functionally to refine and develop pipelines and provide feedback to the growth marketing organization on improving sales leads, automations, and programs to drive incremental revenue

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous startup industry experience and experience in larger companies
  • Familiarity with HubSpot and CRM tools
  • Experience in the higher education space, particularly with the top 25 colleges and universities
