Senior Revenue Accounting Manager

Summary

Requirements

• 10+ years in finance and accounting
• Strong background in high-growth SaaS industries
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting or Finance required
• 7+ years in a leadership or managerial role, demonstrate strong people management skills
• Strong working knowledge of US GAAP, including ASC 606
• Experience with Salesforce, Zuora, and NetSuite are required

Responsibilities

• Lead revenue accounting close procedures: Prepare and review of key controls, account reconciliations, journal entries, and conducting fluctuation analyses, ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Manage day-to-day revenue accounting operation: Oversee the daily revenue accounting operations to ensure smooth functioning
• Lead services deal review cycle: Partner closely with Sales, Deal Desk, and Legal to provide technical revenue guidance for deal negotiation and structuring, ensure application of ASC 606 and financial objectives are met
• Review customer contracts to ensure customer contracts are recorded and accounted for accurately
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to build accounting processes that supports existing and any new products or business expansion initiatives
• Play a key role in our quarterly and annual review and audit process
• Drive the Team’s internal, continuous improvement initiatives and substantiation of accounting conventions
• Effectively manage workflow, providing timely feedback and input while keeping management aware of key issues
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within the revenue and accounting functions
• Lead and mentor a team of revenue accounting professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment

Preferred Qualifications

CPA and Big 4 Public Accounting experience are a plus
