Join Hyperscience as a Federal SDR and become a key member of our public sector sales team. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Sales Development, you will collaborate with Account Executives and partners to develop and execute outbound prospecting strategies targeting Federal and State agencies. You will leverage creative approaches to engage executive personas, consistently meet activity targets, and stay informed about government contracts and procurement processes. Your responsibilities include implementing various campaign tactics, managing multiple sales campaigns, utilizing CRM tools, and contributing to measurable outcomes like lead generation. This role requires a degree or equivalent experience, exceptional communication skills, and proficiency in relevant tools. Requirements
- Degree or equivalent experience in Marketing, Business, Government Affairs, or a related field, with at least 1 year of relevant work experience in the public sector
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling, tailored messaging and value propositions for Federal and State executives
- Curiosity and a strong willingness to learn, particularly in government procurement processes and AI/automation technologies
- Highly motivated, driven, and goal-oriented, with the ability to self-start and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment
- Creative problem-solver with a βfind a wayβ mindset, demonstrating the ability to navigate complex organizational structures within Federal and State agencies
- Strong multitasking abilities, capable of managing multiple outreach campaigns and engaging with various internal and external stakeholders daily
- Collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal skills, able to work effectively with Account Executives, marketers, partners, and cross-functional teams in the public sector space
- Results-driven focus, ensuring efforts contribute to measurable outcomes like lead generation, pipeline development, and ROI for the public sector
- Proficiency in Google Workspace, Salesforce, ChatGPT, GovSpend, and other tools used for government market intelligence and customer relationship management
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute outbound prospecting strategies targeting Federal and State agencies by leveraging creative, out-of-the-box approaches to engage executive personas
- Collaborate with Account Executives, Field Marketers, and partners to identify opportunities and ensure alignment in sales efforts for the public sector
- Consistently meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly activity targets, including cold calls, emails, and meetings scheduled
- Stay informed about government contracts, procurement processes, and regulatory requirements, adapting outreach strategies to align with the public sector's unique needs and timelines
- Implement various campaign tactics, including email outreach, content creation, direct mail, social media engagement, webinars, and more, to creatively drive pipeline and revenue growth
- Support and manage multiple sales campaigns simultaneously, ensuring timely execution and effective communication with internal teams
- Utilize CRM tools to accurately document interactions, track progress, and maintain a clean and up-to-date pipeline
