Senior Strategic Operations Manager

Requirements

• 7-9+ years of experience in strategic operations and/or program management
• Proven track record of successfully leading strategic initiatives and driving execution
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities, with the capacity to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization
• Exceptional cross-functional leadership skills
• Execution mindset and proficiency in project management methodologies and tools
• Demonstrated growth mindset with thirst for identifying growth opportunities and a knack for identifying and solving ambiguous problems
• Ability to see the trees and the forest – can thrive in details but also zoom out to see the big picture
• Consistently seen as the go-to person for programs they lead with a track record for accountability and execution
• Ability to thrive in ambiguity and change, with a can-do attitude and the belief in the art of the possible, not in the impossible

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize operational efficiency and drive execution across departments
• Lead cross-functional teams to execute key strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals
• Conduct thorough analysis of current processes and identify areas for improvement, proposing innovative solutions to enhance operations
• Translate high-level objectives into actionable plans and roadmaps and proactively adapt plans to meet evolving business needs
• Monitor and evaluate performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations to enhance decision-making processes and ensuring recommendations are implemented
• Identify and communicate to leadership on progress, challenges and opportunities for strategic initiatives
• Drive change management initiatives by fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure operational objectives are met
• Proactively addresses and resolves conflict to maintain team cohesion and productivity
• Own and be held accountable for the success of the assigned initiatives

Preferred Qualifications

1-2 years of people management experience is an asset

• Annual base salary for this role is between $173,000 USD and $235,000 USD (USA-based roles) or between $153,000 CAD and $207,000 CAD (Canada-based roles)
